Tauil & Chequer Advogados acts as deal counsel for CRA public offering involving carbon credit issuer

Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised, as deal counsel, the public offering of Agribusiness Receivables Certificates (CRAs) as part of the 237th issuance, in a single series, of Eco Securitizadora, in the total amount of R$ 60 million, backed by commercial notes due by Stoppe Ltda., a company which operates in the issuance of carbon credits, the CRAs are guaranteed by the fiduciary assignment of carbon credits by the Stoppe group.

The team was led by partner Bruno Cerqueira, with the participation of associate Artur Nascimento, both from the Capital Markets & Securitization area.
