Brian Trust named to Global M&A Network's "Top 100 Restructuring Professionals" list
Mayer Brown partner Brian Trust was named to Global M&A Network’s ninth annual “Top 100 Restructuring Professionals” list, which features a “highly respected, successful and innovative group of 25 consultants, 25 financial advisors and 50 lawyers from the restructuring and turnaround communities this year.”
As co-leader of the firm’s global Restructuring practice, Mr. Trust is known for representing large institutional creditors, including agent banks, lending syndicates, insurance companies and other investors. He has extensive experience in Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and recapitalizations, mergers and acquisitions of financially distressed companies, acquisitions and divestiture of claims against and equity interests in distressed companies, debtor-in-possession and exit financings and cross-border insolvencies. Notably, Mr. Trust is widely recognized as the market leader in structuring complex hybrid securitization and/or ABS DIP facilities in chapter 11 cases, including The Hertz Corporation, Centric Brands Inc., Covia Holdings Corp., Cloud Peak Energy Inc., Peabody Energy Corporation, and Arch Coal, Inc.
