Mayer Brown announced today that partners Paul Astolfi and Jeff Davis were named to A Word About Wind’s Legal Power List 2022, a ranking of the 100 most influential lawyers working globally on the financing aspects of wind energy.
A leader of the firm’s Projects & Infrastructure group, Mr. Astolfi has over two decades of experience in the energy sector. Mr. Astolfi’s practice focuses on renewable energy, greenfield and brownfield power, energy and infrastructure finance and energy M&A transactions. Mr. Astolfi represents banks, funds and developers in the development, financing and acquisition of various asset types including wind, solar, biofuels, and gas-fired plants and portfolios.
Mr. Davis is a partner in the firm’s Tax practice and co-leads the Renewable Energy group. He advises clients on a wide range of US federal income tax matters, emphasizing on project finance, development and energy transactions. He focuses on transactions involving renewable energy projects, including tax equity financing, mergers and acquisitions, backleverage financings, tax credits, and other incentives. Mr. Davis frequently speaks at conferences on topics of interest in the renewable energy industry.
