Ann Richardson Knox named to Crain's New York Business' 2022 "Notable Diverse Leaders in Law"

Mayer Brown announced that partner Ann Richardson Knox was named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 “Notable Diverse Leaders in Law.” The list recognizes individuals who “excel in their practice at New York’s leading law firms and stand out for their commitment to community service, philanthropy, professional mentorship and diversity equity and inclusion initiatives,” according to the publication.

Ms. Richardson Knox, the global leader of Mayer Brown’s Fund Finance team and the leader of the New York Banking & Finance practice, represents major domestic and foreign investment and commercial banks as lead agent and arranger in connection with subscription credit facilities and net asset value facilities. She serves as lead counsel on many of the largest and most complex such facilities to funds and led the first ESG subscription credit facility in the US market. She is also a member of the firm’s Partnership Board.

Outside the firm, Ms. Richardson Knox founded the Women in Fund Finance initiative to increase the engagement, recognition and promotion of women leaders in alternative investment fund finance. She is a recent recipient of the Fund Finance Association’s “Woman in Fund Finance Award” and has been recognized as a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal.
