Mayer Brown partner Raj De named to SABA’s Advisory Council

Mayer Brown announced that Washington DC partner Raj De has been appointed to the South Asian Bar Association of North America’s (SABA) Advisory Council.

At Mayer Brown, Mr. De leads the global Cybersecurity & Data Privacy and National Security practices, and focuses his practice on cutting-edge legal and policy issues at the nexus of technology, national security, law enforcement and privacy. Additionally, he serves on the firm’s global Management Committee and is an active proponent of diversity in the legal community.

Before rejoining Mayer Brown in 2015, Mr. De served as the general counsel at the United States National Security Agency. Previously, he served in the White House as staff secretary and deputy assistant to the President of the United States. He also served as principal deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Policy at the Department of Justice.
