Capital Markets Know-How Series | Repackagings are Back - New Product Trends -- Part II & III
登録Mayer Brown's Capital Markets and Financial Services Regulatory Team cordially invites you to our 60-minute Know-How Webinar.
As part of our ongoing series on key 2025 developments relevant to capital markets, structured products, derivatives, and financial regulatory practitioners, this follows Part I held October 2. This session will cover Part II and III of our three-part webinars (No. 19 und 20 in the series) focusing on Repackaging Transactions.
In this combined session, we will provide an in-depth understanding of repackaging transactions, their practical applications, and the opportunities they offer to issuers and investors.
PART II – Applications and Market Perspectives
The second part will focus on practical applications and specific types of repackagings, like credit repacks, repacks with securities lending transactions, and repacks designed to replicate the economics of structured products. We will discuss how repackaging vehicles can be tailored to meet specific investor needs, like those of insurance companies, explore current market trends, and analyze both opportunities and risks.
PART III – US regulatory insights
The third part will focus on US regulatory aspects, such as those arising in connection with the Volcker Rule, commodity pool questions, the Investment Company Act, risk retention requirements, securities exemptions, as well as regulatory capital issues to the extent sold to certain regulated entities.
