Illinois Diversity Council honors Mayer Brown partner Melissa Anyetei with “Most Powerful & Influential Woman Award”

The Illinois Diversity Council (ILDC) recognized Mayer Brown Intellectual Property partner Melissa Anyetei (Chicago) with a “Most Powerful & Influential Women Award” at the ILDC’s seventh annual Illinois Women’s Conference. Ms. Anyetei and the other nominees demonstrated excellence in leadership, sustained records of accomplishments, and a strong commitment to community well-being and the highest level of ethical standards, according to the ILDC.
Ms. Anyetei focuses her practice on patent litigation, IP licensing, patent procurement and counseling. She has experience in a variety of technical disciplines, including technologies involving pharmaceutical products, medical devices, telecommunications, Internet-based technology, smart cards and gaming devices. Ms. Anyetei utilizes her engineering background in connection with complex patent litigation, structuring technology-related agreements and client counseling on IP strategy.
