Forbes names Mayer Brown lawyer Xiyin Tang to 30 Under 30 list

10 January 2017
Mayer Brown announced today that New York-based Intellectual Property associate Xiyin Tang was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30, a list of the brightest young innovators “who are challenging the conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation of entrepreneurs, entertainers, educators and more.”

Ms. Tang was selected for the Law & Policy list, a category of individuals “championing individual rights and political movements.” Forbes cited Ms. Tang’s writings on evolving trademark and copyright laws and their intersections with new technologies, as well as her work representing Mayer Brown clients Google and Spotify in copyright and digital streaming matters.

With a less than four percent acceptance rate, 30 Under 30 honorees were vetted and selected by Forbes reporters and editors, 30 Under 30 alums and a blue-ribbon panel of experts in the law and policy sector.

Ms. Tang focuses her practice on copyright litigation and other complex intellectual property matters. Additionally, she teaches a seminar at Yale Law School on intellectual property in the digital age.
