The UN Convention on the Assignment of Receivables – What Is It, and How Will It Change Trade Finance?

Share

In this eighth webinar of our series, we discuss the UN Convention on the Assignment of Receivables in International Trade, which was ratified by the United States in 2019. The convention could reduce barriers to robust growth in cross-border accounts receivable financing, although significant challenges lie ahead.

Alex Dell and Rebecca Fruchtman of Mayer Brown are joined by Hal Burman, Jae Sung Lee and Bob Trojan, who played key roles in the US ratification of the convention and continue to promote its adoption globally.
