Marcello has participated in the structuring of a tender offer by Grupo Pão de Açúcar for the acquisition of Almacenes Éxito in Colombia, a spin-off of Assaí from Grupo Pão de Açúcar, and a merger between Hapvida and Grupo Notre Dame Intermédica. He has also advised an American investment fund in the competitive bidding process for the acquisition of Amil.
