Katherine Wheeler is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office and a member of the Tax practice.

Katherine advises multinational corporations, partnerships, and high net-worth individuals in all stages of federal tax controversy, including IRS audits, administrative appeals, competent authority proceedings, and litigation.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Katherine was an associate at a national law firm specializing in tax controversy. Katherine also served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Christian N. Weiler and Special Trial Judge Zachary S. Fried of the US Tax Court. While at the Court, she gained invaluable skills and knowledge through her exposure to all stages of US Tax Court litigation.
