Jake Lindsay has extensive experience across a broad range of securitisations and structured finance transactions. He advises financial institutions, private credit, corporate borrowers and fintechs with a focus on cross-border structures and on complex multi-jurisdictional transactions.
Jake has extensive experience in a wide array of asset classes, with a particular focus on corporate securitisation work, fintech-related financings and financings of other esoteric asset classes such as sport and media rights. His experience in these asset classes spans a wide range of jurisdictions, including in North America, Europe and Asia.
Expérience
Recent transactions include:
- advising credit fund investors in transactions in the UK SME, inventory and fintech spaces;
- trade receivables securitisations (company side), including as drafting counsel: (a) in respect of a EUR 240m facility (originators in England, France, Germany); and (b) in respect of a EUR 175m facility (originators in Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Italy);
- trade receivables securitisations (bank/funding side) including: (a) as drafting counsel in respect of a EUR 200m securitisation (originators in England, France, Germany, Netherlands), (b) as counsel in a global shipping receivables securitisation spanning numerous jurisdictions over North America, Europe and Asia; and (c) as drafting counsel in respect of a global agri-food facility;
- market firsts including the first rated European securitisation of equity release mortgages and the first Danish auto loan receivables securitisation;
