Holly Hogan is counsel in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group, serving in the firm’s innovative General Counsel in Residence role. She advises on technology-driven business and regulatory issues, with a focus on early-stage and venture-backed companies.
Holly brings more than a decade of experience guiding high-growth, innovative companies. Most recently, she served as General Counsel of Automattic (WordPress.com, Tumblr, WooCommerce, Day One), where she built and led a global legal team through transformative growth and increasing regulatory complexity in privacy, content moderation, and AI. Earlier in her career, she was an intellectual property and commercial litigator.
Drawing on her tenure as legal executive, Holly offers the unique perspective of a legal advisor with first-hand business and operational experience.
