Violet Flocks is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Land Use practice. She represents commercial and residential developers, businesses, and other entities in obtaining development entitlements from local agencies. Violet advises clients on planning and zoning law, municipal affairs, and environmental compliance, including compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). She also represents commercial real estate developers in land use and environmental related litigation. Clients rely on Violet for land use entitlement guidance under evolving state and local policy changes, in addition to municipal and construction labor perspectives on proposed development projects.
