An experienced appellate lawyer, Natasha previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Appellate Section. There she represented the United States in criminal appeals involving constitutional issues such as the Commerce Clause and the Fourth Amendment, statutory interpretation, and the Sentencing Guidelines. She briefed nearly twenty cases and argued ten cases in the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuits. Natasha also briefed more than twenty cases in the U.S. Supreme Court at the certiorari stage on behalf of the United States. She also advised the Office of the Solicitor General and three U.S. Attorneys’ offices on complex criminal law matters. She clerked for Judge Roy W. McLeese III of the DC Court of Appeals, and she was a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School’s Externship on the Federal Government.
