• Advised lenders (including EBRD) in relation to a USD 150 million project financing of the Öksüt gold mine located in Turkey.
• Advised a group of ECAs (including UFK, Finnvera and Asian ECAs) and commercial lenders on a USD 2.5 billion project financing for Cobre Panama copper project in Panama, including advising on the structure of existing streaming arrangement.
• Represented lenders in relation to a USD 100 million debt facility for construction and development of a gold and copper project in Liberia, supported by a guarantee from ECIC – London Mines & Money Development Funding Deal of the Year 2013.
• Represented the sponsor and borrower in a UFK-supported project financing for the construction and development of a tin and tungsten project in Devon, United Kingdom – Project Finance International EMEA Mining and Minerals Deal of the Year 2013.
• Advised lenders in relation to a USD 75 million project financing relating to a lead/zinc mine located in North Macedonia, including advice on the structure and transfer of a streaming arrangement.
• Represented the arranger and lender in relation to a USD 45 million loan facility to a Namibian mining company to finance/refinance the purchase of mining equipment for a mining project in Namibia.
• Advised a gold exploration and development company in connection with a USD100 million project financing and a royalty agreement relating to a gold project in Senegal.
• Advised finance parties in relation to a USD 225 million revolving credit facility for the Dundee Precious Metals secured with mining assets in Bulgaria, Armenia and Namibia.
• Advised a syndicate of lenders (including EDC) on the project financing of a gold mine in Russia.
• Advised a State-owned shareholder in the project company on the project financing of a copper-gold mining project in Mongolia.
• Advised the US government and Afghanistan Ministry of Mines on the development of the mining industry in Afghanistan (with an estimated resource of up to US$1 trillion), with particular emphasis on the tendering process, model mining agreements and suitability of the mining laws.
• Advised a syndicate of lenders (including a number of European Development Banks) on the project financing for the Kwale mineral sands project in Kenya.
• Advised a syndicate of lenders (including EBRD) in relation to a USD 260 million term loan facilities for the acquisition of chrome mining and processing companies in Kazakhstan.
• Represented the sponsor in relation to a debt and royalty financing of re-development of a Hemerdon tin and tungsten mine in Devon, the United Kingdom.
• Represented the sponsor in relation to a corporate facility for a Canadian listed company operating a gold mine in Egypt.

Export credit finance

• Advised a lender in relation to a Finnvera supported facilities for a Brazilian paper producer, exporter and recycler to finance the purchase by the borrower of certain Finnish industrial equipment.
• Advised a lender on a multi-sourced ECA framework agreement (and FEC supported facility issued thereunder) with a Brazilian borrower.
• Advised a group of ECAs (including UFK, Finnvera, KEXIM and K-sure) and commercial lenders on a USD 2.5 billion project financing for Cobre Panama copper project in Panama.
• Advised a lender in relation to an EKN guaranteed credit facility (including assignment of loans to SEK) for a sovereign borrower to finance the purchase of Swedish local transport vehicles.
• Advised lenders on a buyer credit facilities supported by BPI France and SACE for a buyer in Mexico to finance the purchase of certain equipment and development of a plant in Mexico.
• Represented lenders in relation to ECIC supported USD 100 million debt facility for construction and development of a gold and copper project in Liberia.
• Represented the sponsor and borrower in a UFK supported project financing for the construction and development of a tin and tungsten project in the United Kingdom.
• Advised a lender in relation to KEXIM and K-sure supported syndicated facility to finance construction costs of LNG carriers.
