Mayer Brown recognized as a 2025 “Pro Bono Leader” by ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service

For the third consecutive year, Mayer Brown has been honored as a “Pro Bono Leader” by the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service, acknowledging the firm’s continued commitment to the ABA Free Legal Answers virtual legal advice platform.

Now entering its tenth year, ABA Free Legal Answers has assisted nearly 470,000 individuals with civil legal questions through more than 17,000 pro bono attorneys across 42 jurisdictions, including a federal portal supporting veterans’ benefits and immigration-related inquiries. 

In 2025, Mayer Brown lawyers responded to 703 civil legal questions on the Illinois, New York, and North Carolina sites of ABA Free Legal Answers—an increase from the prior year and a reflection of the firm’s ongoing dedication to expanding access to justice.
