Ryan Lawrence rejoins Mayer Brown's Corporate & Securities practice in Chicago

Mayer Brown announced today that Ryan Lawrence rejoined the firm as a partner in its Corporate & Securities practice in Chicago. Ryan will focus on representing clients in connection with corporate governance and securities laws matters in a broad range of transactions. He previously served as general counsel at Avant.

“Ryan’s extensive in-house legal experience at both public and private companies in many industries, coupled with his law firm corporate practice experience, will greatly benefit our clients,” said Kevin Sheridan, leader of Mayer Brown’s global Corporate & Securities practice.

Over the course of his career, Ryan has served as general counsel at Shift Technologies, Inc., deputy general counsel of corporate at Cushman & Wakefield, assistant general counsel at Royal Caribbean and chief legal officer at Textura, where he led the legal effort in its 2013 initial public offering and 2016 sale to Oracle.
