Share
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Eneva on structuring and implementing a project of power self-production by equivalence with White Martins, in the amount of BRL 2.287 billion, through which White Martins secures its demand for renewable energy of, approximately, 100 MW, to be generated by the Futura 1 Solar Complex, located in the state of Bahia, with an installed capacity of 671 MW, acquired by Eneva from Focus Energia in 2022. Based on such 12-year partnership, White Martins will meet 25% of its power demand with photovoltaic solar power, moving forward towards its goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions in 35% by 2035.

The team was led by partners Bruno Salzano (Corporate and M&A) and Débora Yanasse (Energy), and associate Bruno Ribeiro.
