Mayer Brown announced that Jason Linder, a co-leader of the firm’s Global Anti-Corruption & FCPA practice, has been selected as one of only five lawyers to Global Investigations Review’s (GIR) “FCPA Practitioners to Watch” list, as part of its FCPA survey 2021.

Mr. Linder is a trial lawyer who counsels and defends boards, multinational companies, and executives through corporate crises and government and media scrutiny; leads internal and government-facing investigations, often across borders; and provides proactive compliance counseling. He has led matters in more than 65 countries and in all major industries.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Linder served as a federal prosecutor, both in the Department of Justice (DOJ)’s Criminal Division—where he led many of the Department’s most cutting-edge cross-border white collar investigations—and as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida, where he tried numerous cases and argued multiple appeals. He also served as the DOJ's principal representative to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation.

The list highlights US-based lawyers in the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act space, identified through extensive market research, including interviews with 130 industry insiders, whose developing practices and body of work are particularly impressive. GIR is a service analyzing the law and practice of international investigations.
