The debate concerning whether the United States should pass new climate change-related legislation is intensifying. Both Presidential candidates have signaled support for legislation and the environmental activists are pressing for concrete action. Positions that could have long-lasting consequences for industry and others are taking shape.
Companies in various sectors are seeking to better understand the political and legal climate change landscapes, both nationally and internationally, and some are seeking to influence the direction of climate change legislation.
The webinar presented by members of Mayer Brown's Climate Change practice, David Finnegan and Dario Frommer, addressed the developing US and international climate change measures and offered an overview of their history and demonstrated how they interconnect.
