The Academy of European Law’s Practicing EU and WTO Law: Focus on Trade Defense conference will focus on the progress made in the area of trade law, at the EU and the WTO level. Providing participants with the latest developments from a practical perspective with focus on trade defense instruments.
Attendees can expect to hear from representatives from the European Commission, WTO, member states, practitioners dealing with trade issues at the EU and WTO levels, international organizations as well as traders.
Brussels partner Paulette Vander Schueren will be speaking during the “Analysis of Trends Regarding Injury Margins: Technical or Political Tool?” as well as the Panel Discussion on “Normal Value Calculation in the EU: Theory and Practice,” on October 6. On October 7, Ms. Vander Schueren is chairing the final session, WTO Issues.
