The New Administration's Impact on International Trade

Government & Global Trade Post-Inauguration Webinar Series: The New Administration's Impact on International Trade

Thursday, May 7, 2009

Although President Obama has now been in office past the symbolic first 100 days, he still has many policy areas where he has yet to fully define himself. One of these is international trade.

For the fifth event in Mayer Brown's Post-Inauguration Webinar Series, hosted by the firm's Government & Global Trade practice, former US Trade Representative (USTR) and Commerce Secretary Mickey Kantor and former USTR Chief of Staff and Treasury official Tim Keeler will focus on international economic and trade policy and the potential impact for business and global commerce. Please join us as we conduct a one-hour webinar to discuss:

  • What will happen with the WTO's Doha Round and the pending Free Trade Agreements?
  • Will the UN climate change negotiations and trade issues intersect?
  • What will happen on the WTO litigation front?
