Please join us for an engaging and informative presentation and panel session hosted by Mayer Brown and its alliance firm in Spain, Ramón y Cajal Abogados. Experienced practitioners from both Madrid and London will discuss the following topics:

  • Overview of restructuring and insolvency under the Spanish Insolvency Act;
  • Enforcement of "in rem" guarantees and secured assets in a Spanish insolvency (including a detailed examination of enforcement over a variety of asset classes including receivables/credit rights, bank accounts, real property and moveables/inventory);
  • Practical advice for foreign creditors affected by a Spanish insolvency proceeding; and
  • Five years on from the introduction of the Spanish Insolvency Act - update and further proposed changes.
