On December 14, 2007, Michael Lackey, Litigation Practice partner, participated in "Discovery Technology Best Practices Under the New Rules" panel at the "Electronic Discovery and Retention Guidance for Corporate Counsel" conference in San Francisco. The panel focused on strategies used to select the right e-discovery vendor for each part of the e-discovery process along with:

  • How to best manage e-discovery technology costs
  • Impact of the new rules on technology choices and development
  • Technology traps for the unwary
  • Using technology to help integrate and organize ESI and retention before a lawsuit.

Mike was joined by other experts from Lockheed Martin and KPMG.
