A New Law for P3s in Illinois

Illinois has a new law that governs public-private partnerships in transportation. On August 23, 2011 Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signed House Bill 1091 (HB 1091), or the "Public-Private Partnerships for Transportation Act," into law.

Infrastructure investors and advisors as well as construction, engineering, consulting, architectural and other professional firms in Illinois that do work in the transportation area have a direct interest in understanding the new legislation.

Mayer Brown lawyers, working with the Metropolitan Planning Council, played a key role in drafting this new law.

Join us as we discuss the new law and suggest what it could mean to transportation-related businesses. The seminar will be followed by a cocktail reception.
