The UK’s relationship with the EU is higher on the political agenda than it has ever been in recent years, and weighing the costs and benefits of this relationship is not easy. Mayer Brown is exploring the many different views regarding this issue, and our report takes a look at the legal perspective: how the UK’s EU membership affects many different areas of our business and lives—as businesses, as employers, as employees and as consumers—as well as what a change in that relationship might mean. It is a question to which we all need an answer, especially if we are to be asked to vote in 2017, or earlier, on whether the UK should remain within the EU.

We aim to provide information to stimulate further the debate that is already taking place and, importantly, to assist you to find out more and contribute your views. This dedicated web page will provide a platform for further information and an opportunity to continue our collective exploration of the important questions affecting this debate.
