Overview
Anna Easter is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. She counsels domestic and foreign financial services firms with respect to regulatory, transactional and enforcement matters involving derivatives, securities and cryptocurrencies.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Anna was an associate at a large law firm. Anna also spent seven years working in the Compliance department at the National Futures Association (“NFA”) where she performed examinations and investigations of NFA Member firms and collaborated with NFA’s Legal department, the CFTC, FINRA, FBI, IRS and US Attorney’s Office on disciplinary actions and large fraud cases. Anna also worked in the Internal Audit department at a large FCM/broker-dealer and as a legal extern in the Department of Enforcement at FINRA.
