Overview

Joshua Berliner is an associate in Mayer Brown's New York office and a member of the Banking & Finance practice. His practice focuses on project finance and development, with an emphasis on renewable technologies. He has represented financial institutions and developers on a variety of transactions, with an emphasis on tax equity structures and regulatory / administrative matters for onshore and offshore wind, solar, and energy storage.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh was an associate at a prominent New Jersey firm where he represented developers and municipal / county public entities on a variety of renewable energy / energy efficiency / electric vehicle / redevelopment transactions and in various environmental litigations. Prior to that, he served as the law clerk to the Honorable Louis S. Sceusi, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Morris Vicinage.
