George Aldous is an associate in the Employment practice of the London office. He joined Mayer Brown in 2017 as a trainee and qualified into the group in September 2019.

In his time with the group, George has gained a range of experience in contentious and advisory matters. On the contentious side, this has involved acting for employers in Employment Tribunal, County Court and High Court claims on a range of issues including constructive and unfair dismissal, harassment, discrimination, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. George has also been part of teams advising on breach of restrictive covenant issues. In terms of advisory work, George’s experience includes drafting and reviewing employment contracts, staff handbooks and employment policies, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional employment law projects, undertaking investigations, and advising on sickness absence issues. George has also handled a number of data subject access requests.

George also has experience in corporate and transactional matters, including working on multi-jurisdictional projects and TUPE transactions.
