Amita Haylock recognized in Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards Asia 2020

Mayer Brown announced that IP & TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications) partner Amita Haylock has been named "Lawyer of the Year for Copyright" at the Euromoney Legal Media Group Women in Business Law Awards Asia 2020.

Ms. Haylock is well-known in the market for handling complex IP and TMT-related disputes. She has extensively advised clients on various IP rights, including trademarks, copyright, designs and patents, and has been involved in a number of copyright and patent infringement litigation and arbitration matters involving software, chemical processes and electronics. Ms. Haylock is also a strong advocate for pro bono work and is recognized as a pro bono champion inside and outside the firm, winning individual awards at the Law Society of Hong Kong Pro Bono and Community Service Awards in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Finally, Ms. Haylock has recently been named one of the most outstanding lawyers in Asia under the age of 40 by Asian Legal Business (ALB).
