Hong Kong's Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance No.17 of 2014 (the "Ordinance") was passed in December 2014, and is expected to come into force as Cap. 623 later this year.1 We are advising clients to treat now as a lead-in period, and take practical steps to get ready.
