When investors evaluate a loan portfolio, it is crucial that they collect appropriate and accurate data. However, knowing exactly what to collect can be difficult. To help address this need, Mayer Brown, as one of the founding members of, and counsel for, Deutsche Kreditmarkt-Standards e.V., recently drafted a form “data sheet” to be used in requesting data concerning loan portfolio transactions.
Used in conjunction with our Servicing Agreement, Sale and Purchase Agreement and Confidentiality Agreement forms, this form should enable German banks and investors to prepare and process transactions in the loan market. We are glad to share this data sheet with you and will keep you posted on further developments.
