On August 9, 2007, Mayer Brown volunteers took part in the annual Race Judicata "Sprint for Justice," a 5k run/walk along Chicago's lake front. Mayer Brown has been a primary sponsor of the fundraising event for the past 10 years. Race Judicata benefits the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), an organization that offers legal services to low income Chicagoans who could not otherwise afford access to the law. CVLS's volunteer attorneys provide representation in such matters as adoption, child support, powers of attorney, and consumer contracts. This year, Mayer Brown received the award for entering the largest team: we had 101 participants. To see a video compilation of the event, please click here.
