In recent years, Chinese investors have been increasing their investments in the overseas real estate markets which includes the US, UK and Australia, etc.
With outbound investment hotting up, it is important to understand where the key investment locations are and why. Yolande Barnes and Simon Ha from Savills will assist in understanding the strategies of investors who have already invested overseas, provide market updates on key locations whilst providing sample case studies and some current project recommendations.
To maximise the overseas investment returns, appropriate tax structuring is needed so that unintended tax consequences can be managed. Simon Tan from Deloitte will share with you typical investment structures that may be considered for real estate investment in the US, UK and Australia by Chinese investors.
Partner Andy Yeo from Mayer Brown in Shanghai and Leonard Rosenberg of Mayer Brown LLP in the United States will address some of the typical structuring and other legal issues relevant to China investors' real estate investments overseas.
Please join us for this joint seminar co-hosted by Mayer Brown, Savills and Deloitte, specially designed for the China investors.
