Please join us at Mayer Brown’s Palo Alto office for a discussion about ethics and diversity in international arbitration by Professor Catherine Rogers. Professor Rogers is both a professor of law who studies the intersection of markets and regulation in guiding professional conduct, and the founder and CEO of Arbitrator Intelligence, a new legal tech start-up. In this presentation, Professor Rogers will explain the relationship between these two aspects of her work, including the scholarly origins and recent developments at Arbitrator Intelligence. Professor Rogers will also provide an exclusive preview of the forthcoming Arbitrator Intelligence Reports, which provide detailed quantitative and qualitative data and analytics about individual arbitrators. The discussion will focus on how the availability of information about arbitrators can make international arbitration and international arbitrators more professionally accountable and can break the informational bottleneck that inhibits greater diversity in arbitrator selection.
