The Association of Insurance & Reinsurance Run-Off Companies (AIRROC) and Mayer Brown are pleased to present our Second Annual Runoff Deal Forum. Buyer and seller perspectives will be highlighted. Panelists will candidly share their own experiences and insights, lessons learned, highlights and tips for success. Views on the market players, recent deals and deal trends, emerging markets for captive deals and new exit tools for the US market and their evolving regulatory landscape will also be discussed. Our closing keynote speaker will be Glen Mulready, Commissioner of the Oklahoma Department of Insurance.

Mayer Brown partner and Co-Leader of the Global Insurance Industry Group, David Alberts, will serve as moderator for the panel on “The Runoff Market: Core Markets.” This panel will take an in-depth look at the current deal market from various perspectives.

Mayer Brown partner Richard (Ricky) Spitzer will serve as moderator for the panel on “The Runoff Market: Emerging and Other Markets.”  This discussion will center around some of the other areas where runoff deals are happening, including non-US locations and the active market for captive transactions.

Mayer Brown partner Matthew Gaul will participate in the panel on “The Runoff Market: New Exit Tools in the US Market and the Regulatory Landscape.”  This panel will address the latest activities at the NAIC and state level and how these statutes can open up the potential for more deals in the runoff space.
