The International SOS Foundation and the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong hosted the Duty of Care Conference on 10 April 2019 which attracted over 300 delegates from various industries to discuss solutions for health and security-related risks at workplace and in work-related overseas travels. The conference aims to act as a springboard for dialogue among employers, employee representatives, and authorities with a view to enhance employers' awareness. This year, the Duty of Care Conference 2019 is launched again at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and Hong Kong Insurance Partners Angela Yim and TL Lim were invited to speak on the history, trends and developments of duty of care and employers’ civil liability, as well as employers’ risks and mitigation when sending employees overseas.
