Gabriela Kennedy was invited to speak at The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS) Corporate Governance Conference 2018 Corporate Governance: The New Horizon, on 14 September 2018. Held at the JW Marriott, the conference brought together over 300 thought leaders from the corporate secretarial, corporate governance, legal, regulatory, risk and finance sectors to share perspectives of corporate governance.
During her panel session, ‘The New Horizon: New Strategies for the Digital Age’, Gabriela shared insights on issues that continue to arise with the rapid emergence of digital technologies, including those surrounding cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, reputation management, social media and the impact of these issues on regulations and business strategies.
