Partners Angelia Chia and Ben Sandstad presented an in-depth seminar on Supply Chain Finance and Insurance for a leading regional financial institution in Singapore on 26 June 2018. The seminar included a legal and documentary overview of buyer-led and seller led Supply Chain Finance structures, a discussion of key legal and credit considerations, legal principles and risks and key Basel, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and Bank Negara Malaysia principles for achieving regulatory capital relief, and a lengthy Q&A. The seminar was attended by more than 40 individuals spanning legal, credit, product, sales, operations and risk teams of the financial institution.
