Mayer Brown was pleased to participate in PLI's Sixth Annual Institute on Corporate & Securities Law in Hong Kong 2018. The faculty was composed of the leading legal practitioners, including in-house counsel, active in the Asian, U.S. and UK corporate and securities law fields. In addition, they were joined by key government and other regulators and prominent investment bank professionals. The faculty provided timely, practical guidance on the most critical issues facing corporate and securities law practitioners in Asia today.

Mayer Brown partner Jason T. Elder moderated the “What Every Securities Lawyer Needs to Know About Ethics” panel on May 18. This panel discussed recent developments in ethics, applicable ethical rules in global firms, best practices on managing conflicts of interest, duties of confidentiality and other relevant topics.
