Treasury Grants for Renewable Energy Property in Lieu of Tax Credits

On July 9, 2009, the US Treasury Department (Treasury) published guidance regarding grants in lieu of tax credits (Grants) under section 1603 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. On July 31, 2009, Treasury announced that it is now accepting applications for Grants.
