Under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA), importers of most consumer products will be required to make available to the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) general certifications of conformity on all entries made on or after February 10, 2010. At that time, certifications will become part of the import entry process.
