Catherina Yurchyshyn is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice of the London office. Catherina advises and acts for clients on litigation and international arbitration matters in a variety of business and industry sectors, with a focus on finance disputes.

Catherina joined Mayer Brown in 2014 as a trainee and during her training contract spent six months on secondment to the London branch of Wells Fargo Bank.

  • Representing Societe Generale in English Court of Appeal proceedings relating to the supply of gold bullion: Societe Generale v Goldas Kuyumculuk Sanayi Ithalat Ihracat AS [2018] EWCA Civ 1093, Times, June 8, 2018.
  • Acting for the Panama Canal Authority in a number of ICC arbitration proceedings commenced by a consortium of European contractors arising out of the expansion of the canal. 
  • Advising a Swiss client in LCIA arbitration proceedings concerning the supply of ammonia. 
  • Working on an ICSID investor-state arbitration, acting for Kuwaiti investors against the Government of Jordan in relation to the fiscal treatment of their investment.
