Chris Rodrigues Unseth is an associate in Mayer Brown’s New York office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. He focuses on private investments funds with experience in the organization and operation of private investments funds (including buyout, hedge, fund of funds, debt, real estate and opportunity zone funds). His experience ranges from flagship fundraises for large, multi-strategy sponsors to the organization of joint ventures, separately managed accounts and co-investments, as well as counseling on investor-side reviews into private equity and hedge platforms. He also counsels clients on securities law issues related to the Securities Act, Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act and Delaware limited partnership and limited liability company law.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris received his BA from Brown University with honors, his MA from University of Chicago Divinity School, and his JD from New York University School of Law. Chris is admitted to practice in the states of New York and North Carolina.
