Julie Sweeney is an associate in the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practices. Julie advises clients on cyber incident response, crisis management and data privacy.
Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Julie was counsel for Accenture LLP in multi-district litigation stemming from the Marriott data breach at a prominent Washington DC law firm.
Julie received her JD from George Washington University, where she was a Dean’s Scholar and recipient of the Jacob Burns Award, which is presented to the winning team of the Van Vleck Constitutional Moot Court Competition. Julie was also a research assistant to Professor Daniel Solove.
