Elliott Schreffler is an associate in Mayer Brown's New York office and a member of the Corporate & Securities practice. Elliott focuses his practice on insurance law where he has experience advising clients on insurance regulatory, insurance transactional and general corporate matters. He works with clients on a broad array of subjects including producer, agent, insurer, and third-party administrator licensing, permissible compensation/fee-sharing arrangements among producers, and permissible advertising and marketing of insurance products in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Elliott also assists with insurance transactional filings, including the drafting of Forms A, D and E and disclaimers of control, and has helped clients in connection with market conduct examinations.
Elliott has experience drafting various components of merger agreements and other related deal documents.
Elliott also has experience advising clients on issues related to offering coverage in the non-admitted (surplus lines) market.
