Overview

Nathan Rice is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Chicago office and a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

Nathan represents individuals and corporations in complex civil litigation, investigations, and appeals, primarily focusing on antitrust litigation, white collar defense, and internal and government investigations. Nathan has experience at all stages of litigation, from pleading to trial and on appeal. He has briefed a wide variety of issues, including dispositive motions, in federal and state court, and has experience taking depositions, leading fact development and written discovery, and managing electronic discovery in complex matters.

Nathan maintains an active pro bono practice representing prisoners in civil and criminal litigation.

Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Nathan clerked for the Honorable Roger L. Wollman on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He also interned for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota during law school and served as Articles Editor for the Minnesota Law Review. Nathan graduated law school summa cum laude.
