Mayara Rahman is an associate in the Environmental Litigation practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados in the Rio de Janeiro office.

Mayara Rahman has experience in judicial, administrative proceedings and arbitration, representing large clients in disputes related to environmental, natural resources and infrastructure sector issues, focusing on oil, natural gas and energy.

Mayara Rahman is postgraduate in Civil Procedural Law, from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and member of INOVARB-AMCHAM (Iniciativa de Novos Arbitralistas da AMCHAM-Brasil) and Young ICCA (International Council for Commercial Arbitration).

Before joining Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown, Mayara Rahman was an associate of Basilio Advogados and Schmidt Valois Miranda Ferreira e Agel Advogados.
