Overview
Emily Pennec is a Corporate & Securities partner in the Paris Office, and a core member of the global Private Equity team.
Emily's practice primarily focuses on private equity and M&A and acts mainly for major international firms and Private Equity funds. Emily represents in particular leading Private Equity sponsors throughout their investment activities (i.e, LBOs, M BOs, minority stakes), life cycle of their portfolios companies (build-ups, corporate reorganizations) and exit strategies. While mainly dedicated to Private Equity, Emily also frequently advises multinational corporations in their domestic or cross border investment activities.
In addition, Emily has developed a particular expertise in listed target companies and regularly assists her clients on their public-to-private and public takeover transactions.
Emily is regularly recommend by specialized law reviews in the area of Private Equity and M&A.
Emily is also a member of the Paris office Women's Committee and is involved in many events aiming to reinforce diversity in the Private Equity industry.

- Advised the private equity fund Parquest Capital in the acquisition of Accès Industrie, a listed company specialized in the lifting boom segment.
- Advised EMZ Partners in its co-investment in A2micile Europe, a company specialized in consumer goods and service, alongside its founders in the context of the simplified tender offer of A2micile Europe’ shares.
- Advised the private equity fund Partech Ventures on the first institutional financing of Ecovadis, the leading platform for environmental, social and ethical performance ratings for global supply chains.
- Advised the private equity fund Alpha Associés in the acquisition of the French group Feu Vert– a car repair and spares retail group – from Qualium Investissement and Groupe Monnoyeur.
- Advised the private equity fund Argos Soditic in the squeeze-out offer to the shareholders of Efeso Consulting a global leader in corporate strategy and operational performance improvement consulting established in 26 countries.
- Advised the private equity fund LBO France Gestion in the acquisition of the asset management fund Innovation Capital from the French state owned Caisse des Dépôts & Consignations.
- Advised Parquest Capital on the acquisition of the equipment manufacturer CAILLAU from ING Belgium.
- Advised the private equity fund LBO France Gestion in the sale of WFS to the PE firm Platinium Equity.
- Advised the private equity fund Argos Soditic in the sale of Davey Bickford to Enaex (a Chilian listed company).
- Advised the private equity fund LBO France on the refinancing and sale of Averys to Equistone Partners.
- Advised the founders of La Compagnie Boutique Airline, a new French business-class-only scheduled airline, with regards to the creation and structuring of the company, the fundraising and the rental of its two first aircrafts.
